Pasted to the pages of journal are two photos; one of Eish looking festive as ever (and very eager) and one of an older troll woman. Below her picture, Eish writes the following: Vikwa’Bo! She finally left the cities and let me take a picture!

Made it to Winterspring! Everlook seems so small now! Vikwa also came! She arrived late at night, late like usual. She’s always distracted by studies! She let me take her picture even, I was so delighted! We went to bed - she was pretty tired. She’s not really used to traveling outside of the ride between Thunderbluff and Orgrimmar.

She brought enough clothes though, for a month long stay, when we’re only here for the weekend!  She brought me new journals! and a new scrying gem - we can talk from afar again. I promised not to break this one. She’s very eager to hear more of Zandalar - Most of my letters never arrived - couriers get hurt or worse trying to travel through the continent.  It’s not too safe as yet.

But less on Zandalar - more on our day! We had a simple breakfast of corn meal and tea (she brought her own. I swear, she travels with enough to stock a caravan) and started the relaxing with a pampering session in Everlook’s  spa. We got our feet (and hooves..) worked on, our respective manes (trolls have a sort of mane.. maybe the males more so..) groomed and trimmed and an overall soak in the hot tubs they have on site. It was SO nice. I could feel the aches and stress melting away. I purchased a fancy bar of soap for us - it was made of goats milk, lavender and peacebloom. Vikwa got a sugar scrub and a face mask! She looked a fright, but said it was delicious!

The goblins here took great care of us - the fellow who worked on my hooves was so knowledgeable and so polite! Usually this is something I do on my own, so it was a mix of weird and pleasant having them done for me. But he was so quick! He said his goal was to get the job done efficiently and pleasantly! I know so many look down on goblins as greedy, or selfish but many are so pleasant - there is so much more to them than the almighty gold piece.

I think maybe Vik’wa was of the mind that they were all selfish too - but the goblins in Orgrimmar are, like so many, trying to eke out a living like so many others. Being quick on an opportunity benefits them - the quick, that is.  I’m so grateful for my time among goblins - my first real job came from them - out of Everlook! Drik Spillwell is long since gone, his time in the trade routes is done I am told. He got caught screwing up numbers on shipments and got tagged as dishonest. That’s why we work so hard to be careful with our own numbers! But I think Vikwa’s time here has opened her mind a little.

I got off track!

After our pampering, Vikwa and I settled in for tea and books, enjoying the warmth of the inn a while before enjoying a nice supper of roast meats, potatoes and vegetables. We did seriously nothing productive other than read, chat and drink tea after the morning.

And it felt. so. good. No routines, no orders, no screaming, no blood or anything. Just good company and quiet. Tomorrow I’ll go hunting - maybe some rabbit. Vikwa says she knows a good recipe for rabbit! She’s not a great cook, but the few things she does know, are pretty good.

She brought SO MANY BOOKS.  Books on ecosystems, a history of Mulgore (which she says is unusual),  A thick one on various magics and even one on druid magic and their beliefs - I’m really excited to read that one. I’ve seen many druids in my travels, I still don’t understand their ways. She promises me that I’ll get good reads from these.

I’m positively ecstatic - It’s been so nice to see Vikwa! She’s full of news. She says Elder Wooshy still teaches in the Bluffs. He’s getting bored of it though, and wishes to travel. I wonder that he’ll try to visit Zandalar - he could find willing students there I imagine. Same with Vikwa - I see many Zandalari that work in magics as she does.

It’s about time I got back to my book! bye for now!
