What a day!

I met with Xet and the rest of the clan (orcs have clans, not tribes I was informed) for a gathering of clans in Nagrand. Amazing land, this Nagrand! We traveled via portal and then via wyvern to Garadar where we met with the other clans participating.

Such noise! So unlike a tauren gathering - there was shouting, thumping of chests and arms, hooting and friendly shoving. I was only given a few looks of suspicion - the poor dead lady was given worse. I felt bad, but no one gave her direct trouble so I didn’t feel like I had to step in. (She is part of our clan too! Xet accepts all sorts of people! Diversity!)

I participated in a race! I was going to stay out but a nice (?) orc lent me his huge wolf - it was black with a good saddle. I mounted up and joined Xet and a fellow Tauren named Honovo from our clan in the line up. Xet led the way for a while before breaking off to manage some outriders - wow can he ride! I  managed to come in third place after a spirited jaunt through Nagrand’s outer roads and paths! Riding that wolf was so unlike riding a kodo. They actually run, as opposed to a kodos speedy shamble. Mind you, a kodo is no slouch, but this was pretty amazing! I am considering talking to a breeder to acquire one of these wolves. A lady orc (she was so beautiful!) suggested I look in to a dire wolf to take in to account my size.

We met in an arena after the race for some sparring - I was prepared to represent the Chortlemaw clan (ok, more like terrified, orcs are a large, vigorous people and I am still trying to gain weight. Some of their women could break me in half I think) but I was called away. Tusok was rampaging in the Garadar stables. Someone touched his face which my big bully kodo does not appreciate. I did warn them to not touch his face, but some people don’t get it and they get tossed or stepped on. Not all beasts are cozy and cuddly! So I left for Garadar immediately and collected Tusok. I paid for the damages to their stables though - he did a bit of damage and made it right. With the amount of gold I was asked for and gave to them them they should be able to make repairs and additions to their stables.  I traveled back to Kalimdor via portal, then the portals back to the Broken Isles to our camp in Highmountain. I’m exhausted from all that portal travel and wyvern riding. Looking for a quiet day or two in the coming days. Fishing with Routy might be nice if he can get through his .. his whatever he;s going through.

I’m not sure what it is. I imagine he’s bored with camp life - and to be sure, it is a little dull. He has orders to fill, and he always have chores. But I mean he’s not bound to stay here - I wonder that he’ll travel like I did? Or maybe he stays because he’s afraid he might change in to his other self and cause trouble? I don’t ask because it feels like a sore topic. I just try to keep positive for him.
