I made my way back to Orgrimmar this week.

It’s been some months since I’d been there. I saw Vik’wa - it was a delightful mix of screeching, crying and so much tea! and BOOKS! Oh but we chattered, and she gave me so many books to read. Books on factional differences, books on the cultures between the various races, scrolls and parchments of information - and a book regarding shapeshifters- druids I think this one is about.

I spent so many hours with her. We talked so much - about Highmountain and the camp I share with Routledge, about my time on Argus, my classes at Trueshot Lodge. Oh but she’s been so busy too. She’s teaching a group of fresh mages in the matters of the Arcane and far-speaking. She was showing me something called a spell array, one for helping her students visualize their work.

Oh! she even gave me a new focus, so we can talk again without letters. She said it’s good to have more than one method with which to speak, and after all I’ve seen and done, I have to agree this time. This one is smaller, fitting in my pockets easily. She said if I practice enough, I won;t need to touch it to use it eventually. That I’ll just need to think about her, and my thoughts will carry - the way I do it with the kodos.

I also got some trading done in Orgrimmar - I traded off some furs for herbal bandages, a bag of antler points for some jars of an antibiotic cream (this will help Tusok so much, he has such a tender fold on his right foreleg, it gets crusty and nasty after too much activity) and a moose skull went for some smoked fish - I’ll keep that for Routy and I, it’s really good! Way better than what I can do. I might have a direct buyer for my antler pieces - this sweet troll lady uses them to make buttons. I told her I’d stay here for a day more, after which I had to go back home. She seemed ok with shipments - which is useful. She got to see the materials first hand, so it’s not like she won;t know what she’s getting. We spoke of future transactions - since I have loads and loads of antler portions back in Highmountain.

So really, it’s been a very agreeable time here in Orgrimmar - a huge difference from the last time I’d been through. I’m not sure I’ll visit too often - it’s still way, way too smelly and noisy for my likings, but if I can keep trading going, I might consider it.
