A picture of a sunrise, set in Highmountain, but not from the doe’s lake-side camp. Written right underneath are the words ‘Trueshot Lodge’. She writes further below this.
I’ve been visiting this place a bit, and speaking with fellow hunters and trackers. I’m learning so much more about what we can do, and why we do it. Between speaking to folks here; and correspondence with Vik’wa, I have a better understanding of this Horde versus Alliance mess, and about the Legion. I’m horrified to have heard some of the things I’ve been told about. It makes my heart ache.
Vik’wa has experienced so much hurt from the hands of this Alliance - I had no idea. She told me - on the topic of Routledge and I - that not all humans and Alliance are out to be assholes, just to be mindful - not everyone I might speak of us about will be neutral or happy for us. Routledge and I had discussed this before. And I do - I keep it to myself. I mean, it’s not everyone’s business. The few people I’ve mentioned it to have been fairly happy about it.
The folks here at the Lodge are of all types, and the conflicts I’ve been learning about seem to be put aside, for the most part. The friendliest person here has been a purple elf called Finara - we’ve talked for hours on the merits of different beasts, and of the mission of the Unseen Path - an order of sorts here in the lodge. She explained all of the orders are working together on that Argus place, and that I should consider signing on to help the missions out on Argus if I get called back.
I’m considering it. I still keep the camp in Highmountain, and have some duty to the tribe still, but this Order might be worth looking in to. I’m told the pay is reasonable, and the experience I might gain is valuable.
