A picture of a Sunwalker tauren can be seen here; clad in orange plate, astride a vigorous kodo painted and armored. From the look of things, the setting is in Thundertotem.
Oh! But I met such a lovely fellow the other evening. Look at him! He’s so strong! He was out walking and working with his kodo while wearing armor to keep himself used to wearing it. I was so surprised, I had to speak with him. WOW though, he could talk!
His name is Jukko- Jukko Softhoof. He explained he resides in Thundertotem proper with his mate Benerlet, and their twins Sharyu and Wunto. His mate even joined us, though she declined a picture. Their calves are so beautiful! Sharyu is white, with a little brown on one eye, and Wunter looks like his father I think, patched brown and white. Oh I wish I could have snapped a picture!
Miss Benerlet is such a sweet lady, quiet compared to Jukko who was absolutely gushing over her and the calves. It was so sweet! It turns out we share a friend - Jukko happens to be good friends with that Elder I might - Wooshy! He told me that if I need spiritual guidance, the elder would be a good place to start. We spoke a bit about this An’she our fellow tauren have mentioned here.
He was so kind to discuss this with me, explaining hsi own faith was based on the belief of the Earthmother amd An’she’s light. When I asked how can someone have two beliefs he said, ‘Oh! But you’re able to do as many as you wish, if you’re inclined! But my abilities come from An’she- and my love to the Earthmother, always!’ It gave me some food for thought I admit. He explained that if I felt the call of An’she, I might not recognise it. ‘You could feel drawn to the sun, or maybe fire! Or maybe you have a vision of the sun in some way - be calm, and you could find what you might feel best with.’ He seemed completely honest in this. I almost asked him about that creepy moose ghost in my dreams, but I feel I could talk to Wooshy about it later.
In other news I’ve been contacted again about this Unseen Path; and invited to their lodge here in Highmountain. The elf I spoke to - Ell’ara? I think her name was - she says hunters of all walks of life are welcome, and work together against these demons. I might take the hike up there, or fly - the wyvern I keep has been easier to fly lately. Though between you and me, I like the ground better.
I saw the tribe recently. I went back to Kalimdor with a load f furs and hides for the Pathfinder Lodge, and to hear feather tales. Only one person shared - Sianha, but it was a good one. Rakahu was so quiet, it was unusual. I hope he’s alright. I didn’t want to press him. I dropped off the hides in the village, hopefully they’re of good use. I gave them my surplus bear and moose hides; and some deer leather. I have so many - hides and furs are much sought after here lately - it’s much colder, and a good bear pelt is warm! Not to mention the teeth and hooves - some people seem to use them for totems.
Hoping to approach Miss Meelo and Miss Rhedin about an idea I’ve had.. that of a barter faire in the village. Since it’s you know.. harvest time, why not trade for goods and services right? We’ll see. I feel it could help strengthen ties perhaps. I’m grateful for this tribe.
