A brief entry; written in ink - this time with better control and less smudgings.
So much to do here! Grynda and Frundl are a wealth of information - I’m so grateful. Always work to do in camp, and then the trading. I’m getting better at it every day. Well, when there are people to trade with anyhow. Valdisdall has days where it’s absolutely busy - for just days, followed by days of low travel. We maintain camp more on those days, making it more comfortable.
And you know what else? I met a human! All I heard about humans was how rude they were - but this one - his name is Routledge - he was so nice! Bhenta seems to like him. Hopefully Weyoh and Tusok will like him too. He’s a blacksmith, in his forties and smelled kind of nice! He spent the night with us after sharing a meal by our fire. We discussed the city of Stormwind, and he educated me some on the nature of my former employers - the Forsaken. I find I am less happy knowing more about them now. They seem even more unnatural now. I hope to ask Vik’wa about them at length.
I’m hoping he’ll join us on this dragon hunt Grynda is determined I need to undertake - she says my abilities as a leather worker can get better if I work with stormscale. She has this tattoo of a dragon on her back - she seems to think so highly of them, so I think I’d feel bad in slaying something she holds dear.
No word yet from Tahalem. I might try to travel to this Dalaran place and send a letter from there, see if it reaches him. Grynda mentioned it’s a useful city, but so noisey and busy.
We’ll see!
