Uldum is amazing - it reminds me of the Barrens in a way, and yet is so different!

So refreshing too after the cold of Winterspring.  The sands feel like a second home, and the dryness of the air.

The people here are welcoming enough.  I learned they are called Tol’vir, and are of the Ramkahen tribe. They have an amazing culture, telling stories in the evenings that are dazzling. Drik says we’re here to trade, and we’ll head back to Mulgore after a while. I am content to stay here, but will follow his caravan.

My happiest moments so far, outside of story time with the locals, is going out on the sands with Tusok and Bhenta.  There’s a stand of palms where coyotes hide - I’ve hunted several down and brought their hides to the locals to trade for services.  I am slowly learning to tan these hides myself, it will help save money, and make money later.  I have so many teeth and claws, I’ve started making necklaces and bracelets for the local children to wear.

The caravan uses me for protection and hunting when we cannot trade for meals here. It is nice to feel useful, but I sort of feel like I should go on my own for a while. But for now, the work is appreciated. I think I’d still be brushing down kodos had Vik’wa not put in a word with Drik. I am grateful.

I look forward to visiting Mulgore. I have been writing to Vik’wa and Tahalem frequently, and look forward to seeing them. Vik’wa and I communicate through her little weird crystals still, exchanging snippets of life, or maybe discussing history, or lore. From her, and the caravan, I hear so much about the Broken Isles.  I hope to travel there soon and assist in the efforts there, it all sounds so distant and fantastic, and terrible. I haven’t yet seen a demon, but I trust I will known one when I see it.
