What luck!
Tahalem surprised me in Everlook today! We’re camping out east a bit in the woods on my off duty time. It’s so quiet - I love it. All you can hear is maybe Tusok when he shifts, and our breathing. No machinery, no shouting, no smell of grease and fuel - it’s a relief to be away from that for a little while.
I had a long few days recently; I was escorting a pair of dwarves to Frostsaber Rock who wished to hunt the large cats in the region. The elder was respectful enough, paying a good sum for the extra protection. His companion was another story - kept scaring away game, ruining traps and snares for game. He eventually broke his arm for his leaping and ignoring our warnings. But the hunt was a success; we came back with several furs, skulls and a pair of cubs.
