Her writing is wobbly and skewed - as though she were writing while mounted.

I am writing from the back of a wagon, on my way to Everlook, Winterspring!

What an amazing week. I cannot begin to express what’s happened. I’ll start with that I met the most amazing bull in Bloodhoof. He’s so sweet! He’s a blacksmith, and a Brave! His name is Tahalem. Vik’wa does not approve of us meeting, and if her entry in *my* journal is any indication, she won’t approve of us being mates. But that’s our choice, not hers. I’m being careful.

Her concerns are valid - I’ve had it explained to me that I’m going too fast since leaving the Barrens. I see those concerns, but it feels right with Tahalem. Grant it, I think what I am now learning was a chance encounter, there should maybe have been a bit of ‘courting’ I am told. But.. it just feels right.

I left him in Mulgore today; after we had a wonderful hunt on the plains. We brought down a plainstrider; dressed it and took it back to the village.  We were napping before a meal when this huge caravan came in to town and this goblin came and woke us up from a nice nap.  I had to leave in such haste - I feel so bad! My quillboar necklace is gone, maybe he’ll find it. I hope so, I really liked it. I worked hard to get those tusks.

So.. Well.. Vik’wa put in word for me, for some work with some goblins - that’s who came to find me in Mulgore.  Drik Spillwell is the leader. He gave me a bag of clothes and armor at one of our stops, saying I was too ‘damn skinny and ill attired for the snow-hell of Winterspring.’

He took my old clothes, burning my linens and selling off my ring-mail for a few silver. The new armor and linens are thicker, and much tighter - Drik said it’ll help up north.  He also gave me back my journal. I apparently left it with Vik’wa, who wrote an entry for me to read.

Drik is sort of coarse, lecturing me on doing what I’m told. That I’ll be on my own for the majority of the time, so I’d better keep a close eye on my silver and belongings. I feel like he’s the one hundredth person to tell me that. But I’m glad to be going - I left the Barrens to see the world, and I’m doing it! I can’t wait! I plan to write to Tahalem and Vik’wa as soon as I can.

I think also I am sort of part of a tribe. I mentioned them before I think. The Thundermoon Tribe! I met with the beautiful lady Rushala recently - and her beautiful calf! Oh- I cannot wait to have my own!  But I was asking her (carefully) about tauren culture - I feel so ignorant to my own peoples practices. I speak the language - Weylo taught me that much, but nothing on the rites and practices.
Rushala explained that.. while she’s a ‘Dawn Gazer’, not a keeper of lore like a ‘Cloud Walker’ she’s willing to help me catch up a little. She’s so sweet - she likes tea too! I can’t wait to tell her I have work in Everlook - I’ll send her a letter!

It’s time for sleep here - I will write more when I can!
